The first disc is dedicated to Dorival Caymmi, the most illustrious creator from Salvador de Bahia. He sings of the magic of his town and his songs related to the sea. The second focuses on the potency of the ForrO, represented by two fantastic artists: Luiz Gonzaga and Jackson do Pandeiro. The songs featured in this anthology now belong to Brazil’s heritage and Dorival Caymmi, Luiz Gonzaga and Jackson do Pandeiro are invariably considered as touchstones for younger generations.
