La Fontaine: Fables

This CD features the renowned “Fables” of the great French author Jean de La Fontaine (1621-1695). For years and possibly centuries, every young French schoolchild has read and learned these “Fables” and their famous morals. A large selection of fables are read here in French, by Michel Galabru and Jean Topart. They are backed by musicians playing 17th century style music
