“La Canne à sucre” (The Sugar cane) was the most famous West Indian cabaret of post-war Paris. This CD featuring the complete recordings of a small label “MUSIC MONDE” which produced West Indian musicians from 1946 to 1949 pays it tribute. Includes a 24 page booklet with both French and English notes.
