Jazz Ladies – The Singing Pianists 1926-1961

When you peel away the layers in jazz history, you often find that the ideal path to recognition followed by the ladies in the genre was_ singing. Playing the piano came a close second, but among the pianists there were a few who, after adding songs to their palette, succeeded in attracting a wide audience.
