This 2-CD set offers you more than 115 minutes of natural recordings made in the jungles of Ceylon, now called Sri Lanka. Jean C. ROCHE recorded the first CD entirely in the dry area, from the National Park of Yala in the South as far as that of Wilpattu in the North-West, taking in some of the coastal regions of the East. Anthony WALKER recorded the second CD in the region of Sigiriya, Kandy, Ratnapurna and Sinharaja, the last 3 being in the wet area. These 2 CDs evoque the great natural melodic and rhythmic atmosphere of this large island so close to Southern India. Includes a 24 page booklet with both French and English notes.
