This CD features testimonies of a founder event of French actual political life : the Law of seperation of Church and State, adopted in 1905. The recordings cover a wide period (from 1893 to 1936) to build up a real panorama of this major event through speaches, songs, historical testimonies, etc. Warning : Due to the age of the oldest recordings – and in spite of the best technologies of restoration – the listening is sometimes harder.
