Marguerite Yourcenar: Memoires D’hadrien

This 9 CDs box set features a reading of Marguerite Yourcenar major book, published in 1951 : “Les MEmoires d’Hadrien”. Both philosophical and historical work, the book is a meditation of the Emperor Hadrien (who lived between year 76 and 138) at the end of his life about the major events he lived. Sort of an imaginary autobiography, “Les MEmoires d’Hadrien” remains one of the greatest works of French literature. Red in French by actor Robin Renucci.
