This CD presents a panorama of the Gypsy jazz recordings released by the labels La Lichere and Fremeaux & Associes covering the 1933-2003 period. The entire tradition of Swing Manouche (Gypsy swing) is hereby reunited, from the very origins (Django Reinhardt, Stephane Grappelli, Jo Privat) to the actual heirs (Boulou Ferre, Rodolphe Raffalli, Mademoiselle Swing, etc.)
